CH MOHAMMED KOYA (1927-1983)

Cheriyan Kandi Mohammed Koya was the tenth chief minister of kerala. He has also served as kerala speaker and education minister.As educational minister he was instrumental in formulating many plans to bring Kerala as one of the most educationally forward states of india.Now kerala is no.1 state of india in terms of literacy and CH was one among those successfull leader who made kerala intecully the best.CH Mohammed Koya still the beacon light and the source of inspiration to the masses in kerala and so will be in the years to come.CH Mohammed Koya Memorial Charitable Centre popularly known as CH centre is named after him




SYED MOHAMMEDALI SHIHAB THANGAL(1936-2009)

Shihab Thangal was born as the eldest son of panakkad syed ahmad pookoya thangal.Shihab Thangal was appointed as the president of Indian Union Muslim League in 1975 and remained president until his death in 2009.He was a very influential leader of the muslim community in kerala and qazi to hundreds of mahals in kerala.he did his advance studies in religious education in Thalakkadathur and Kananchery Dars under Ponmala Moideen Musliyar.Then continued in Egypt and obtained his master's degree in Arabic literature from Al-azhar university in 1961. He continued his studies in Cairo University and Pursued a Doctorate in Arabic literature in 1966
